EQUIPPING BELIEVERS also involves providing them with a solid foundation of Biblical Knowledge which is crucial to UNDERSTANDING:
- WHAT is being said
- The CONTEXT of WHAT was said
- The TIME FRAME it's being said
- The CULTURE of the TIME FRAME for what is being said
- WHO is actually speaking
- WHO is the intended audience receiving the message in that TIME FRAME of what's being said
- WHAT is the take-away/result
- HOW do YOU apply thousands of years old knowledge spoken in a different culture and time to the current times of today.
AGM BELIEVES in the Accurate Exegesis of the Scriptures when Encouraging, Equipping, and Empowering BELIEVERS with the Word of God.
Teaching and Sharing accurate Biblical Knowledge can be done in a variety of creative and innovative ways to meet and reach other BELIEVERS who are at different spiritual maturity levels. However, AGM will NEVER CHANGE the message of the Gospel regardless of the situation, circumstance, event, or location.
Having the "Correct" and "Working" TOOLS, knowing what TOOLS to use, and how to USE the TOOLS in their intended purpose, IS critical to all BELIEVERS LIVING IN AND LIVING OUT THEIR God-Created PURPOSE.
EQUIPPING is a continuous cycle as YOUR Tool Belt of preparation requires constant and consistent evaluation to add, remove, and/or maintain YOUR TOOLS in working condition.
God has clearly called BELIEVERS TO PURPOSE. Since He called US, He will give US the grace, mercy and tools WE need to accomplish His Will for OUR lives.
Spiritual Gifts endowed by the Holy Spirit, God given Skills, Abilities and Talents are all used in YOUR PURPOSE. The KEY is understanding how they relate and are interconnected to helping YOU fulfill YOUR specific role in God's plan.
